This wouldve helped 14yrs ago
This was one of the first adventure games on the SMS that i proudly beat as a kid without any help or cheats. I can still do it to this day!
You missed a few key money bags. Typically there are some on top of the castle doors. You can exploit it by getting them first, then fighting the boss. Then they reset and you can get them again. This allows you to skip boots and get ones that jump higher to get gold easier in future levels and on clouds. Also, there's a coin on level 3 that was missed. It's an odd one. Two screens after the long ladder. On the screen with the ? door, you go to the screen above it. Then jump off the moving platform on the right and trigger it when you fall. You then land on the screen below it onto the top platform. Jump up and down so your head pops up on the top screen for a sec. Keep doing it and you will catch the coin triggered on the top screen. Fun way to get it!
Lots of people are talking about the helicopter/truck stage.
He made this game look easy. It is not, not at all.
This seems an enjoyable game. It's a shame it didn't evolve over time like Castlevania, in more of a treasure hunter vs vampire hunter sort of way. Obviously, it's the first of the trilogy of games, followed by El Viento, and ending with Anett Futatabi, (although the American and Japanese versions contradict whether El Viento or Ernest Evans came first), but, I mean this character, and his game setting in general with all the unique traps, seems to have an appeal that could have launched a whole series of games around he and his adventures, I feel.
Never seen the second stage I remember getting stocked in stage 1
The SNES version of the game, Inspector Gadget, is based on the DiC Animation City animated TV seres of the same title that used to air in the 80s to the late 90s/early 2000s, off of whenever it was on The Family Channel/local syndicated reruns/Nickelodeon/Fox Family/ABC Family/This TV/Starz Encore Family/Light TV/Qubo/MeTV Toons.
So many hrs spent in my cousins apartment playing this.
I SOOO hated Neifirst for killing Nei. I'm still mad and bitter. Smh.
A Canadian and a Mexican arguing over who is more American.
I gotta say, the music in this game is some of the worst I have ever heard on the GBA. Almost Back to the Future NES levels of bad.
Without the music, perhaps.
Forget it Jake, it’s Deja vu
Only thing I hate about this game is the Barrage of enemies. Especially at the later levels. Sometimes so many of them swarm you at the same time that you aren't even able to see your own character sprite. 5 is the upper limit of enemies that should be on-screen in this game at a time.

Excellent game ✌️
the graphics on this are by far the best produced by sega cd. and used its power accordingly. what a masterpiece of engineering
Nostalgia unlocked
Deja Vu....A Nightmare Comes True!
GREAT GAME,GREAT MEMORIES. I LOVE IT!!!
How does he have all those weapons with those attachments
The person who developed this game is a sociopath. I rented this game a few times per month for months and months when i was a kid. This game is practically unbeatable unless you take endless notes and have a good memory. Finally beating the game after all that work, the developer leaves you with less than nothing. I always wished I could run into the guy who developed this game at some GameCon convention to I slap him in the face.
I always loved ICOM Simulations games like Shadowgate, Uninvited and Deja Vu. Really fun on the NES when I was a kid.
They're video games that really make players think.

Every so often I think about this game and crave watching some playthroughs of it
I had this one as a kid =)
I have no idea how I completed this as a kid lol. I must have really persisted.
Pierre Bourne
This game was really cool wish it had megazord mode blue with timeshadow and the q-Rex
Combat in this game is a button masher
This game was pretty much garbage but I remember how exciting it felt at the time. You mean there's a fully 3D action RPG??? Oh man, that CAN'T be bad! Unfortunately it was slow as dry clay and not really as much of an RPG as I would have liked but it was still an iconic entry in the early days of the Playstation library.
Wow, now I just realize I played the very first souls game. And I loved it. Back when I was just 19 years young...... OMG I am getting old. I also love Elden Ring!! From software... From code writer to code writer. You rock!
I came for the beat song in 32:40 lol
Remember playing this and double dragon st walton video shop in Chesterfield back in the mid to late 80s..after school.. happy days..
This game needed a sound track
there had to be more bosses fr
Konami was the masters of platform games like Castlevania, not racing games.
Anyone else coming from Dan Olson's video and desperate to figure out how to get past level 2?
What you need to do to progress is confront your insecurities and accept that you are not a filmmaker either.
Literally! Turns out you just... jump?
anybody else here because of folding ideas? i had to figure out how to get out of that room. starts at 10:07
Doctor Who! The Time Lord 😅

Le tout premier jeu vidéo auquel j'ai joué quand j'étais toute petite 3 ou 4 ans 😅😊❤

11 years later and it still works!
IT’S CINEMATIC (yes I watched the Folding Ideas video)
I love everything about this game. The music is incredible as well.
Who else came here from folding ideas eh?
Parabéns, ótima jogada.
You are here because you wanted to see how to get past the part at 10:20 because Dan Olsen got stuck and you are curious how to solve it
